Traderjolene’s Strawberry Thumbprint Cookies
Ingredients:
2 sticks of room temp butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
2 tsp vanilla bean paste
2 cups all‑purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt

Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees . Cover baking sheet with parchment paper
Use a Mixer to together butter and sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy for 3 minutes
Beat in egg yolks & vanilla extract
Add flour and salt and mix until dough comes together
Place in the fridge for 30 mins
Make dough into 1 inch balls & arrange on greased cookie sheet (I use coconut oil spray)
Pro tip! The 1/2 tsp makes the perfect thumbprint shape when you press it into the dough
Bake for 10 minutes. Remove cookie sheet from oven. Let them cool down and then fill each with a bit @mrsbridges_food strawberry preserves
